TJ Search is recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Property Manager on behalf of a corporate client. This role involves managing operational property, delivering effective property solutions that meet the needs of tenants and stakeholders.

As Property Manager, you will oversee day-to-day property management, including landlord and tenant matters, commercial leasing, and service charge management.

We are seeking a results-oriented professional with significant experience in property management, consultancy, and lettings. This role provides the opportunity to play a key part in maintaining and improving the organisation’s facilities while driving continuous improvement across services.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Focus

  • Provide expert advice on all aspects of property and asset management.
  • Communicate the asset management vision to operational teams, ensuring a consistent approach across the portfolio.
  • Set and monitor objectives for individuals and teams, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
  • Oversee contractors and suppliers, ensuring the delivery of cost-effective and high-quality services in line with the organisation’s processes.
  • Stay informed of relevant legislation to ensure compliance and protect the organisation’s interests.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all property-related matters.

Functional Management

  • Manage the organisation’s property and assets across a diverse portfolio.
  • Ensure effective day-to-day property operations, including lease negotiations and service charge administration.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver effective property solutions.

Job Dimensions

  • Responsible for property and asset management across multiple sites.
  • Regular travel to London and the North of England will be required.

Skills and Experience

  • RICS qualification (or RICS Associate) preferred, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • At least five years of experience in property management, particularly across multi-site environments.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience guiding diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities, including contract negotiation.
  • A practical, logical approach to project management and problem-solving.
